CRC stands for Cyclic Redundancy Check . It is an error checking code that is used by MS Outlook 2007 as well as by other Windows application. While opening any particular PST file in MS Outlook you can encounter CRC errors. The errors tell us that the specified PST file is corrupted and you cannot access the data from that file.

The main reason for the above mentioned error messages are because the PST file is damaged or corrupted. Check for the Hardware Errors
In order to check it, first of all close the MS Outlook 2007 go to the Start icon and press Run and type ‘cmd’ and press enter. After this, type chkdsk/f and press enter. After when the disk checking is completed, close the command prompt. Restart the MS Outlook and your problem is solved.
Re-Create the Corrupted PST File
If you are still not able to access the data from the corrupted PST file, then you will have to re create the corrupted PST file. First of all close the Outlook 2007 and start the Windows Explorer. Create a backup for the damaged PST file. Rename the PST file as Old.pst. After that use the Inbox Repair Tool to repair the Old.pst file.
