Whenever you install the MS Office on your system then .msi file get saved as hidden folder. Without this file you will be unable to perform install option, apply software updates and at the same time even unable to update your configuration. To resolve the problem you will have to make sure that you have the original installation CD that will be used to install the office on your system and follow these steps:
• Have to insert the MS Office installation CD in the CD drive.
• In case you have installed the MS Office from a network then you will have to browse the network location that you have used to install MS Office.
• Then click Retry.
In case you do not have installation CD then in that condition you will have to click in Detect and Repair command that is in Help menu of Office Program.
