In the personal folder there folder that include calendars, contacts and inbox that is a part of the Outlook folders. Consequently there may be the situation that your system becomes dead because of corruption and after this you will become unable to access your personal folder in which you might have saved some important documents. To avoid that situation you will have to use PST Backup in order to backup the data in MS Office Outlook 2007, Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2002.
In this situation the MS Outlook automatically stores the messages, appointments, contacts, notes, tasks and journal entries in any of the following two locations such as:
- Stored either in the personal storage folder known as .pst file in the hard disk drive.
- Or stored in the mailbox located on the server. If you use MS Exchange server that is located in the on the server.
Therefore you can very easily enjoy the back up of the personal folder and helps to remove the Outlook data in case you experience unexpectedly data loss, hardware failure, transfer of data from one hard disk drive to another or transferring data from one computer to other computer.
