Fix “Trash Won’t Empty Error 8062” in Mac!

In Mac OS X, Trash is place where any data that you delete get stored. Literally, it is a temporary deletion which can be recovered when any such situation occur. But if you want to delete the data from Mac Trash permanently, then there are three possible ways by which this can be done. Firstly, by clicking the ‘Empty Trash’ option of Trash. Secondly, by deleting the data from anywhere by performing the same process and last by emptying the Trash using the keyboard shortcut command, ‘Shift+backspace’. But at times while performing these activities, Mac users encounter ‘Trash won’t empty Error 8062‘ due to which Trash fails to empty itself.

This error generally occurs because of incorrect permission settings of files and folders which are very helpful to control access to the data. And when this permissions get damaged or if it is set to no write, then user encounters ‘Trash won’t empty Error 8062‘. To overcome this error message you need to use ‘rm -rf command‘ which will help you to get rid of this issue. Once you fix this issue, you will be able to delete the files from your Mac Trash and can also recover them if you required. But if you fail to do so, then to recover Trash Mac data you need to use any third party software.
